A clothed body of what appeared to be a teen was found in the water at the Oceanside Harbor, Oceanside police said.
Sunday, Oceanside police received a call from a woman who found the body in the water, near the north jetty by the 1400 block of North Pacific Street.
The woman, an unrelated witness, saw it floating as she was walking on the rocks of the jetty.
Oceanside Police Department's Harbor Unit officers and Lifeguard personnel responded.
The unidentified bod did not appear to have suffered any visible trauma, police said. The body looked to be a clothed man in his teens.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner's office is working with police to identify the body.
